Under a joint-development agreement, BNB Renewable Energy and Enfinity America Corp. will finance and construct a 9.8 MW solar project on 60 acres of land in Napoleon, Ohio owned by the Campbell Soup Company. Campbell will purchase 100% of the electricity generated, which will provide about 15% of the production facility's annual requirements. Construction began in early June and is expected to create more than 200 construction jobs until its completion at the end of 2011. When complete, the $21.6M system should produce more than 14.7 KWh of electricity during its first year of operation.
