Compliance Matrix

The second component of Citation Technologies’ Compliance Continuum is ART’s Compliance Matrix. The compliance matrix outlines the journey to compliance from a high level requirement through the mandated detailed compliance activities what specifically has to be done at the facility

In an effort to facilitate the amount of effort needed at the facility, two levels of compliance matrix are available in ART.

ART I output enables a business to break down the high level applicable requirements into detailed compliance actions from which it can develop operational controls, compliance tasks, identify task owners, and declare frequency of task performance, all of which are now directly linked to the applicable requirement being reviewed. The completed matrix itself can be used "as is" to manage compliance or can be uploaded into an Environmental Management Information System, EMIS.

ART II output takes ART I's Compliance Matrix a step further by pre-populating the matrix with the compliance actions that must be taken to comply with the requirement. This information allows a site's compliance activities to be developed without the need of additional requirement research.

ART Compliance Matrices can be used alone or in concert with a facility’s EMIS. The EMIS will essentially automate the compliance matrix, thus making management of a great many activities and subsequent completion records found in large compliance matrices a manageable undertaking.
