ANSI iPackages

Citation Technologies and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) have come together to create ANSI’s first dynamic, online document presentation platform. iPackages’, using the citation® platform's rich feature set, allows organizations to manage change, share ideas and documents, annotate, and personalize standards for internal use.

The introductory offering includes:

ISO 14000 Collection 1 (Core):  Provides guidance and requirements to establish, implement and maintain the policy and objectives of an environmental management system. Guidance provided on the principles of auditing an organization's environmental management system enables the monitoring and verification of an effective environmental policy.

ANSI iPackagesISO 14000 Collection 2 (Comprehensive) :  Unifies various aspects relating to an environmental management system. It includes all of the ISO 14000 Collection standards used to establish and maintain an environmental management system (EMS) for greenhouse gases, utilize environmental labels and declarations, and conduct a life cycle assessment and an environmental performance evaluation.

ISO 14000 Environmental Labels and Declarations Collection: Establishes the guiding principles for the development and use of environmental labels and declarations. It also provides the requirements for self-declared environmental claims, developing environmental labeling programs, and quantifying environmental declarations.

ISO 14000 Environmental Performance Evaluation Collection: Presents guidance on the design, use and assessment of an environmental performance evaluation system. It enables a structured and consistent approach to assess a site or organization, audit and certify an environmental management system, and communicate environmental values, practices and performance internally and externally.

ISO 14000 Greenhouse Gases Collection: Helps organizations to quantify, monitor, report and verify their greenhouse gases emissions and removals. Organizational and project-level requirements define the process of structuring an inventory program and project activities that are intended to reduce or remove greenhouse gases emissions

ISO 14000 Life Cycle Assessment Collection: Renders the principles, framework and requirements to conduct a life cycle assessment that can be integrated into the design and development process of a product. The collection also identifies opportunities to improve the environmental impact of products at various stages in their life cycles, measure life cycle assessment performance techniques, and implement structural formatting for life cycle assessment data.
