Keyword Search: Premium eCodes employ a powerful indexing engine that allows users to quickly find the text they need. Search terms are easily identified and live navigation links help to promptly move users to each occurrence of the text. The search results option allows the results to be viewed hierarchically or by overall rank of search. In addition, users can create stored searches.
My Bookmarks and Site Log: Instantly return to menus, features, documents, or specific text sections and paragraphs that have been used during the term of the subscription with a personalized bookmarking feature or by accessing a tracking system of previous activity.
Quick Links: For frequently visited pages, users can establish Quick Links so a page can be recalled with a single click.
Highlighting Search Tool: Draw attention to specific words or phrases with variable color highlighting. Each instance of the specified selection will be automatically identified – on every page of every document. A quick navigation tool also allows users to navigate forward and backward to find each occurrence of the highlighted term(s).
Annotation Editor: Add notes, tables, images, attachments, and hyperlinks to any code. Apply the annotations document-wide or set their location to specific sections or paragraphs. Possible uses for the annotation box include, but are not limited to:

- Company policies on the section
- Hyperlinks to ES-Reports on products that will meet the requirements of the section
- Pictures and diagrams that will satisfy the requirements
Printing and Saving Files: Even in an electronic world, a hardcopy printout of a building code can also be useful. Premium eCodes support a printer friendly HTML format that makes content – either with or without annotations – available for printing or archiving.
Document Comparison: Would you like to see the differences between two editions of the same code? The Document Comparison tool allows users to compare any two documents in the library in a side-by-side comparison view.
Reverse Links: Cross references to other documents, sections, paragraphs or subparagraphs within a code are automatically embedded in Premium eCodes. Reverse links allow users to navigate to other documents that refer to the code or text being viewed.
Customizable library: Users may personalize their online library by purchasing other references used in eCodes, such as ASTM standards.
