Job Purpose
Our Inside Sales/Product Consultant gathers and builds upon account information to leverage sales and improve upon the business relationship. Prospect - demo - close - write order.
This position is also responsible for managing internal Citation relationships necessary to close the deal, including inside sales, support, services, finance, and marketing. You are responsible to engender winning prospect relationships that result in sales and satisfied customers, as well as offer product consulting on the CyberRegs software solution. |

Job Responsibilities
- Team selling model / work closely with Sales Executives to co-develop assigned accounts
- Proactively contact new customers; 50-75 outbound cold calls per day at minimum.
- Research and propose IT solutions to clients and promote the sale of additional products/services.
- Follow up on outstanding quotes
- Work to successfully meet individual, team, and department quotas and SLAs
- Ensure overall customer satisfaction
- Monitor all account activity for designated prospects.
- Ensure that all resources are utilized to fullest potential in order provide exceptional customer service during sales cycle.
- Proactively following up with potential accounts to answer inquiries during the sales cycle regarding product, pricing, billing, etc.; ensure issues or concerns are resolved to the benefit of Citation and the new customer.
- Interact with other departments to resolve prospect customer issues
- Develop strong working/selling relationship with internal Operations teams and Business Partner Managers
- Provide back-up coverage for other designated accounts
- Service accounts by processing orders and quotes, answering inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and credit, questions via phone or email
- Maintain and update customer information in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 as needed

Job Requirements
Important Competencies: Negotiation Skills, Results Focus, Product Knowledge, Sales Goals, Sales Skills, and Account Management
|
| Education: BA/BS Degree in Business, Engineering or related degree |
Experience: 3-5 years sales experience; software sales preferred |
Manages Others: No |
Additional Training/Experience
Specialized Knowledge and Skills: (strongly preferred)
- Proven track records of meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas
- Knowledge of Software Market
- Knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety Markets
- Effective in managing time and expenses
- Excellent Analytical, Planning and Process Development Skills
- High Level of Initiative and Strong Business Judgment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Enthusiastic and ambitious team player
