Scottsdale, Arizona (August 14, 2009) -- Compliance and Permitting Manager Nik Mukhopadhyay says Conestoga-Rovers has experienced increased EHS research productivity because CyberRegs has up-to-date information and a user-friendly interface, which allows users to look up regulations, statutes, and proposed regulations for all 50 U.S. States as well as a number of cities and counties. "We use CyberRegs for State and local regulations because with so many different regulations, it can be difficult to keep track of them all."
Conestoga-Rovers relies on daily Early Warning Service emails to stay abreast of any instances when a law or regulation changes or if a proposed change is in the works. For Nik, who focuses on air quality compliance, this means he can stay informed of changes in air quality regulations and pass on the information as needed to his clients.
Other members of Conestoga-Rovers use another CyberRegs’ feature RegMatch, which helps them find
documents related to the regulations they are reviewing. When a user views a CFR document, for example, he or she can use RegMatch to find matching State documents, or when viewing State documents, can use it to find relating CFR documents or information about regulations created by other States. This allows the consultants at Conestoga-Rovers to easily find and compare the different regulations affecting their clients.
Nik and his team can log onto CyberRegs from anywhere, even if it's from someone else's computer. This functionality lets them perform their work on the road even when they don't have access to their own computers. It's just one more reason Nik believes CyberRegs was the right choice for Conestoga-Rovers.
